First Baby Born at TBRHSC

Among the many “firsts” recorded at the new Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre is the 1st baby born at the site.

 

Logan Moonias began his journey Monday, February 23rd at 7:13 p.m. He weighed in at 9.2 pounds and measured 20 inches in length. Logan’s blood sugar was a little high initially, so as a precaution he was placed in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Logan is reported to be responding well to care. Logan’s parents, Wayne and Lorraine, enjoy the company of five other children, as well.
