On Thursday, June 21, 2007, Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre held its Annual Meeting of the Corporation.

Joining the Board of Directors for a three-year term is Nancy Veal. Returning to the Board for a three-year term is Ingrid Parkes.

Continuing their terms of office on the Board are: Robert Altree, Gilbert Labine, Angèle Brunelle, Steve Henderson, Susan Fraser Wilson, Blair Smith and Ron Nelson.

The 15 member Board includes the following ex-officio Directors:

• Dr. Gordon Porter, Vice President, Medical & Academic Affairs/Chief of Staff
• Ron Saddington, President and CEO
• Dr. Gabriel Mapeso, President, Medical Staff
• Dr. Stephen French, Vice President, Medical Staff
• Dr. Roger Strasser, Dean, Northern Ontario School of Medicine

The Board regretfully accepted one candidate’s withdrawal due to unforeseen circumstances. The Nominating Committee will address the vacancy.
