proper hand signals and never allow headphones to be worn while
riding.
- Make sure your child’s bike is the appropriate size.
- Check your child’s bike to make sure the brakes, reflectors and tires are working properly.
- Children always need to wear a helmet when on a bike, scooter, skateboard or rollerblades.
- Children should wear knee and elbow pads for scooter riding, and add wrist guards for rollerblading or skateboarding.
